Shaving The Testicles

We've been using razors since puberty and they are also useful to use down there. Since we are skilled at using these sharp blades on our face, grooming the sensitive skin on the testicles is just as easy, especially in the shower when the skin is soft & smooth. Using a razors for sensitive skin may be easier.

Cons of Shaving

• You have to shave every few days.
• The hairs are cut at the surface and have sharp edges.
• It can be itchy as the hairs regrow.
• Ingrown hairs are a possibility, especially with the multi-blade razors that lift & cut the hair below the surface of the skin.

Hair Removal Creams

Hair removal creams are popular because they're easy. But do you really want to put a chemical concoction on your testicles? Perhaps, providing it's a gentle formulation meant for sensitive areas. These depilatory creams dissolve the hair which is then easily wiped away. It takes about 15 minutes to do its thing but should only be used after testing it on a small section. You've been warned! The skin on the scrotum is very thin and sensitive and may be susceptible to a chemical burn. The removal of hair down here needs to be done very carefully.

• Smooth balls last longer than shaving.
• The hair grows back soft instead of coarse as it does with shaving.

Waxing Your Scrotum

Aren't there other ways to prove your manliness? Waxing removes the hair by the root and leaves smooth skin for up to 6-8 weeks but it's painful and expensive. Be brave.

• Continuous waxing reduces hair growth as the hair follicles are constantly damaged.
